Warehouse Supervisor-Cherokee Street Location -Sioux Falls, SD

Diamond Mowers is looking for a working supervisor to join our team as a Warehouse Supervisor. The Warehouse Supervisor will report to the Operations Manager. We are looking for someone who can carry out a clear vision for the department, and plan to achieve success. This person would be responsible for managing our inventory in our warehouse at our Cherokee location, flexing as needed to our main location warehouse.

Key Roles

• Lead, manage and hold people accountable.
• Maintain software system and ensure receipts are entered into the software system.
• Conduct cycle inventory counts monthly and annual inventory counts in our warehouse.
• Maintains warehouse and storage areas by organizing floor space, adhering to storage design principles, and identifying and recommending warehouse system improvements.
• Coordinates and moves inventory by scheduling materials to be moved to and from our warehouse.
• Develop and mentor a team that is set up for results and success through accurate transactions, picks and established processes.

Responsibilities

• Continuously upgrade the team by recruiting, training, and coaching.
• Establish clear performance expectations, key performance indicators (KPI's) and hold team accountable for results.
• Achieve results through people and process.
• Establish a sense of urgency throughout the department.
• Oversight of all Diamond Mowers employees for compliance of PPE requirements.
• Ensure that warehouse facilities are up to standards with respect to safety and quality.
• Participate in safety walks as required and help build a safe culture.
• Effectively allocate human capital to ensure the right part, is at the right place, at the right time
• Provide leadership with daily reports of risks and remedies.
• Ensure proper labeling, organization and bin management within the warehouse operations.
• Flexes to 60 th Street warehouse 25% of the time.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of proven management experience preferred.
• Warehouse experience and supervisory experience.
• Forklift experience preferred.

Hours: Monday-Thursday 7 AM to 5 PM

Friday 7AM to 12 noon

Days: Monday-Friday
